EGYPTIAN REVIVAL STYLE GREEN GLASS CICADA & PEARL DROP NECKLACE
This is an Egyptian Revival style necklace. It has a gilt 'wings' which hold a green glass scarab/cicada beetle. Hanging from this is a faux pearl drop. It is held on a chain with green glass beads. This necklace has come from a shop that shut in 1972. The shop specialised in making up jewellery from older components. I cannot say which date the components are in this necklace but they have to be from before 1972.
