| Marie has been trading in Victorian and Georgian gold and silver and precious stone jewellery for the last thirty three years, building a wide selection within a broad price range catering to all budgets and tastes. Immensely popular with dealers and collectors from all over the world, Marie came to Alfies in 1979.
She specialises in jet, ivory, coral, amber, pinchbeck, cut steel, agate and silver and paste jewellery up to 1930.
Marie also undertakes complicated seed pearl and cut steel jewellery repairs and pearl restringing.
Marie has a strong connection with the Czech Republic (being Czech!) resulting in her being able to source top quality garnet jewellery with impeccable provenance at very reasonable prices.
